Uniting the elements of Earth, fire, water, air, and Spirit create Sacred moments of creativity. Pottery connects this moment with ancient civilizations its people and customs with our future generations. A vessel to carry water or hold grain, a bowl in which to beg for a meal or to serve a banquet is created with your hands and once fired could last a millennium. Pottery involves Sociology, Geology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Science, Biology, History, and Art. It is with this perspective Sandy teaches and produces pottery.
